Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, has been prosperous in metal processing since before the war. Its history dates back to the nail craftsmen of the Edo period, and today it still houses many factories. Together with the neighboring town of Sanjo City, the area is known as Tsubame-Sanjo, a center of metal processing in Japan.

Aoyoshi, founded in the 1950s in this area, began as a manufacturer of metal Western tableware (cutlery) for export and has since been involved in the planning, development, manufacture, wholesale, and sale of household goods and welfare products.

Nowadays, the number of products manufactured overseas has increased, but our strength lies in quality control based on Japanese quality manufacturing. Additionally, as a manufacturer in Tsubame City, we leverage the geographical advantage of local industry to work on advanced product development.
