A Chardonnay made from grapes grown in Yoichi, Hokkaido. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed to extract clean juice while keeping the fresh fruit character. The wine is slowly fermented at low temperature in a mix of oak barrels and stainless steel tanks.
During aging, the wine stays in contact with the lees to add texture and complexity, and natural malolactic fermentation takes place in spring. It is bottled with minimal intervention and without filtration.
This Chardonnay has a delicate and elegant style, with a nice balance of soft oak and fresh fruit flavors, followed by a long, smooth finish.

Bright and elegant, this Chardonnay from Yoichi, Hokkaido, offers aromas of fresh citrus, white peach, and subtle tropical fruit, with a touch of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, vibrant acidity balances flavours of ripe pear and apple, finishing long and refreshing, with a lingering fruit-driven finish that highlights the cool-climate character of Yoichi. Perfectly refined, it pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, creamy pasta, roasted chicken, or enjoyed on its own.

Hokkaido SPACE Winery, located in Naganuma, Hokkaido, is a pioneering shared winery that opened in 2023. It was established by Naoyuki Maro, the founder and representative of JAPAN Wine Growers. The facility allows multiple wine producers to share professional winemaking equipment and cellar space under one roof, lowering the high cost of setting up individual wineries and reducing barriers for new winemakers. Producers benefit from access to quality fermentation and aging equipment, dedicated spaces for their projects, and technical support, enabling them to focus on crafting high-quality wines while exchanging knowledge with others.
JAPAN Wine Growers, established in 2022, is a support organization in Japan’s wine industry that provides consulting, technical guidance, and assistance for vineyard management, winery operations, and winemaking. In addition to supporting new and existing producers with vineyard and winery setup, fermentation guidance, and technical training, the company operates its own wine projects, collaborates with international winemakers, and organizes seminars to strengthen the skills and knowledge of Japanese wine growers. Together, JAPAN WineGrowers and Hokkaido SPACE Winery aim to foster sustainable growth in Japan’s wine industry and elevate the overall quality of Japanese wines.
